The Northwest Seaport Alliance (Seattle + Tacoma) Weekly Volumes & Metrics Report 7/9/25

Overview

For the week ending June 27 the NWSA saw one if its highest full international import weeks for this year. Those volumes were up 20% compared to Q1 of this year but flat compared to the June 2024 weekly average. Truck trips, though up significantly from the week before were down just over 4% compared to the June 2024 weekly average.

Vessel lifts were down compared to the week before and down compared to the June 2024 weekly average and the Q1 2025 average. The decrease in vessel lifts while imports and truck trips were up likely due to lower export volumes and anomalous vessel schedules.
