Weekly NWSA Volumes & Metrics Report

Given the rapid changes in trade policy and the uncertainty these changes bring, the NWSA will be compiling and regularly releasing the latest data on cargo movement through our gateway. Check back here on Mondays for the latest information.

Overview

This report will cover both the weeks ending on November 7 and November 14. The next report will cover the weeks ending on November 21 and November 28 to accommodate the holiday. After that they will resume their usual cadence. October’s monthly numbers were also published November 18 and can be found here.  

Both the week ending on November 7 and the week ending on November 14 were down compared to the 2024 November weekly average. For the week ending November 14, imports were up 13.3% from the week before and down 3.9% compared to the November 2024 weekly average. Truck transactions were down 12.2% compared to the week before and down 16.6% compared to the November 2024 weekly average. Vessel lifts were up 9.3% compared to the week before and down 13.4% compared to the November 224 weekly average.  Full numbers for both weeks are below.
