The Northwest Seaport Alliance wins Top North American Port on the West Coast in the 42nd Annual Quest for Quality Awards by Logistics Management

The Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA) is once again proud to be selected as the leading West Coast port in the 42nd Annual Quest for Quality Awards by Logistics Management (LM). The NWSA received the highest overall rating among West Coast ports with top scores in three of the five categories. We welcome this prestigious recognition as it highlights the NWSA’s exceptional performance in delivering world-class service.

The Quest for Quality Awards is a comprehensive and respected benchmark for measuring customer satisfaction and performance excellence in transportation and logistics. To determine the “best of the best,” LM Readers – logistics, transportation, and supply chain decision makers – rate carriers, third party logistics service providers and U.S. ports strictly based on service and quality.

“It is an honor to be recognized by Logistics Management as the top port on the West Coast again this year” said NWSA Co-Chair and Port of Tacoma Commission President John McCarthy. “Strategic investment in our infrastructure, technology, and workforce is a key component of this success. Our team works diligently to provide the best port facilities and experience for our customers.”

The NWSA achieved an outstanding overall score of 45.82. putting our gateway on top of other West Coast ports. Additionally, the NWSA excelled in Value, Intermodal network, and Equipment & Operations. These recognitions underscore the NWSA’s commitment to operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and seamless cargo movement.
