The Northwest Seaport Alliance (Seattle + Tacoma) Weekly Volumes & Metrics Report 9/03/25

The week ending in August 22 saw high international imports, both from the week previous and year over year. Truck transactions were down year over year and vessel lifts were stagnant year over year but up from the week before.

The NWSA did not release a report for the week ending in August 15. The overview for that week was lighter cargo volume, both with international imports and vessel lifts. That week saw two larger regular calls voided, which led to a substantial dip in cargo. That lighter previous week is likely in part why truck transactions for this reported week were low. Truck transaction numbers usually slightly lag other metrics.
