Overview
For the final full week in August, metrics were down across the board, except for truck transactions which were up week over week but slightly down compared to the August 2024 weekly average.
Following a busy week before, and continuing a trend of week over week fluctuations, international imports were down 26% from the week before and 18.6% compared to the August 2024 weekly average. Truck transactions, likely moving cargo from the busy week prior, were up 14.4% compared to the week before but down 13.8% compared to the August 2024 weekly average. Vessel lifts were down 20.6% week over week and 19.2% compared to the August 2024 weekly average.
